Riding Instruction

Cloverfern offers riding instruction from beginners through to advanced level dressage.  Jumping instruction is also offered.

Principal instructor, Emily Carter rose through the pony club ranks to become highly successful showing ponies in her early years. Emily then developed a keen passion for dressage.  With Stallion Vancouver II Emily competed successfully at Grand Prix level.

In recent years Emily has taken time off from competition to raise a young family while furthering her instructor qualifications under NCAS.  She is currently undergoing her level 2 qualification as a specialist dressage instructor.

Lessons from Emily are available both on and off the Cloverfern property.  Cloverfern also hosts occasional clinics with visiting Victorian and interstate coaches.

Horses are fed twice daily and all hay and other feed is provided other than special additives or certain specialty pellet feeds.  These too can be accommodated however they may result in an increase on standard rates.

Horses are paddocked separately unless otherwise requested. All paddocks have natural shelter,  Bayco fencing and electric standoffs.  Should you need to ride after dark, paddocks with floodlighting close to the stable complex can be provided on arrangement.

General Care
All rugging and daily maintenance of your horse will be done to your specifications using your own equipment as required.  Worming is done on a regular basis and charged to you at cost.  Annual vaccination boosters are also administered in the same manner.  Your horse is personally checked twice daily and further benefits from all-day staffing supervision.
